Professional summary

Limb lengthening and reconstruction are my specialities and I am proud to have trained under the guidance of Prof. Gavril Ilizarov. In fact, I introduced the Ilizarov method to the US and Canada back in 1987 and have been a pioneer in the field ever since. My contributions to limb lengthening and reconstruction have earned me numerous awards throughout my career, such as the Best paper/poster award by SICOT, AAOS, POSNA, and AORS.

As a testament to my passion for orthopedics, I have published over 150 peer-reviewed articles, written five books, and authored 60 book chapters. These accomplishments have made me an internationally recognized authority in the field.

Apart from being a dedicated orthopedic surgeon, I am fluent in several languages, including English, Hebrew, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian. In addition, I am an avid adventurer and enjoy hobbies like skiing, biking, and scuba diving.

I am humbled by the recognition I have received from my colleagues and peers in the field of orthopedics. I am passionate about providing the best possible care to all my patients and am committed to advancing the field through my work.
