In her clinical practice, Dr. Siwicka focuses on modern, minimally invasive surgical techniques. In limb reconstruction, she also uses external fixation methods, including the Ilizarov technique and computer-assisted external frames. Each of her patients is cared for by a team of specialists – physiotherapists, prosthetists, orthotists, and occupational therapists. The first visit lasts about one hour and includes thorough diagnostics and the development of an individualized surgical treatment plan.
Privately, she is a mother of two teenagers who loves traveling with her family and discovering the world.
She is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma of the musculoskeletal system with experience in pediatric orthopedics and neuroorthopedics, limb reconstruction, and the care of patients after limb amputations or at risk of amputation. She graduated from the Medical University of Gdańsk and holds a PhD in medical sciences from Nagoya University in Japan. She has gained her clinical experience in prestigious centers in Australia, Japan, South Africa, and Malawi. She is known for her interdisciplinary approach to treating orthopedic disorders in children and adults.

Dr. Paley is dedicated to teaching and has made significant contributions to the field of orthopedics through his efforts. He organized the first Ilizarov course in 1987 and the first ASAMI North America meeting in 1989. He also served as the first president of the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society and was the past president-elect of the International Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society. Dr. Paley organized the internationally attended Annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Course from 1989-2008 and has lectured and demonstrated surgery in over 80 countries. Additionally, he provides training for specialists from around the world through his fellowship program.
