I was trained by Professor Ignacio Ponseti, who introduced me to the Ponseti method for clubfoot management. It has been my honor to introduce this method to surgeons in more than 50 countries and to establish a “train the trainers” program for key thought leaders from different countries.
As an orthopedic surgeon, I have devoted my career to innovating minimally invasive surgical techniques for a wide range of congenital and developmental foot and lower extremity deformities, including torticollis, congenital vertical talus, congenital muscular torticollis, congenital knee dislocation, and nail-patella syndrome. I also specialize in lower extremity tendon lengthening in patients with cerebral palsy spasticity. Additionally, I have developed a brace that bears my name, which has proven to be an essential tool for managing clubfoot. The brace is utilized in over 50 countries and has successfully helped thousands of clubfoot patients avoid relapse and further intervention.
